This is my first blog.
This 1st blog is all about my trip to kodagu. Some description about the places I visited and some details I know about the places.
My friends and me planed to start the trip to kodagu on 23rd night at 11 o'clock, but because of some problem with travel agency, we started our journey at 1.30am.
We reached Harangi Resorvier at 6.45am, the dam was empty but the fog on top of the water was very attractive.
Then we left for Dubari River rafting; it’s some 30kms from Harang Dam.
We went for river rafting, but the river was very still, so there was nothing much excitement in that. In the middle of the river we were allowed for swimming, then later we had breakfast at which was not so good.
From there we left for Golden Temple at Bailukeppe. Golden Temple is very nice place to visit. We had nice photo sessions there.
From there we left for Talakadu, but in between because of vehicle problem there was a delay in the trip for 2hrs.
We Reached Talkadu round 3.30Pm, which is 3578 M.S.L. The Holy place is well maintained and developed. The nature is really nice to see. At talakadu, we climbed some 360 steps to reach the height of round 4500 MSL. There was nothing special but to burn calories it nice to climb and get refreshed by seeing the nature from such a height.
From Talakadu our next place to visit was Madakeri. RajaSEAT. It is the best place to view Sunset. The entry fee for RajaSEAT garden is Rs2 pre head. After sun set there will be Musical Fountain, which is very pleasant to see.
At night we struggled to find the place to stay, as at the time of our visit, there were some 3 Films shooting was going on and Some function of ISCON temple was also there so we were unable to get the Rooms. Some how we got a contact number of some "BhagyaLaxmi Lodge" in "___________" (Not getting the town name right now). We stayed there and a hot bath in the morning and left for IRPU Falls. The Best place in the whole trip. The Falls is superb and the water is too too cold. may be 5 C to 6 C. We spent some time under water Falls.
From there we left for Nagarhole Forest where we were able to see some Elephant and Deer, nothing more than that. We Entered Mysore around 4.30pm.
We directly went to Chamundi Betta. Got Dharshan of Load ChamundiDevi. Had snacks and Tea.
While returning there was a nice surprise for us, as soon as we reached the view point the light at mysore place were on, that was the super view one can ever have.
From there we planed to go KRS, but we got stuck in the traffic near KRS and the show was closed before we reach. So we returned back with out seeing.
From there we started our journey Back to Ban galore, had dinner at Daba on the way and Reached Bangalore at 2am.
